Really excited about this so thought I would let people know about it, its like a computer control manager so the teacher can control the classes screens.

Have been looking for something like this for linux/windows for ages, has anyone else used it?

I have been playing around here but still can't quite get it working yet, would it be possible for someone else to give it a play and let me know the outcome, in case I am doing something obviously wrong!!

Thanks,

I've just been looking at this and I cannot see how it works - particularly how do you specify which clients to view?

Me being dumb hadn't installed the client  Just need to get the JRE onto my thin clients so that things will work as I hope.

iTalc Looks really interesting i'm going to have a play with it tommorrow.

@ Ric_ have you had a play with it yet?

A little... I have the added fun of compiling the client for some thin client terminals (to save me running 30 instances on a terminal server).

Sounds nice! i noticed a nice windows package already there for me to play with! don't have the confidence on *nix yet! it may sort the problem i had a couple of months ago with ghost client and the current software we use for classroom monitoring (imperata which is now sanako classroom 100 or something like which seems to run flaky on xp!).

be worthwhile giving it a go though!

Cheers
