If you've not heard of the Dropkick Murphys, I think the best way to describe their kind of music is a fusion of punk/rock/Irish folk music with a hint of celtic roots with influences like The Pogues, The Clash, Bruce Springstine, the Dubliners etc. If you've seen the film The Departed, they did the intro track "Shipping out to Boston". Check out their new track, guitars & bagpipes = awesome. 3

maniac Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Dropkick Murphys are one of those bands I put on every now and then and listen to for a few weeks, then don't listen to them again for 6 months or so. Nice to see some new material from them
