theeldergeek Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 How do I look at the GPO's set up on the server? Dumb question of the week...
sparkeh Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Do you mean looking at the GPOs for your domain by going to Administrative Tools -> Group policy management? Or do you mean looking at the GPOs being applied to the server by running 'gpresult'? 1
Domino Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Do you mean distributed from that server, or which apply to it? if from: open administrative tools -> Group Policy Management; you'll see you AD structure with an added OU of "Group Policy Objects" if to: open a cmd prompt and type "gpresult /R" 1
theeldergeek Posted February 21, 2011 Author Posted February 21, 2011 Not sure what i mean, as it happens. Will try the methods given above and see which result is the one i want! Where do I go to collect my numpty award... over there is it....
tumbleweed Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 look for 'GPMC sample scripts', downloadable from microsoft - one of them will do what you need ...
sonofsanta Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Type rsop.msc at a command prompt to get the resultant set of policy as well
