[html] Viewing websites locally

Hey guys

 

Weird problem with websites. Our students are creating a site with embedded flash videos, when they preview them prior to uploading to our webserver the videos do not play. As soon as the site is uploaded they play fine.

I guess its something to do with the file URL when they open the page (e.g. file://///shared/Drive_R/Dreamweaver%20Training/Sample%20Website/about.html). It used to work with a previous version of Flash player, and its only since installing the latest version it has stopped working. Has anyone come across this before?
