Can anyone help me test skype?

Cut a long story short, been asked if it is possible to setup a Skype connection between school and a hospital where one of our students currently is.

 

Got Skype 4.0.... installed on a laptop which came with it on anyway, have got an account created but now need to test it.

 

If anyone has Skype available and can assist with a test, don't need to chat, just make sure we can connect, I'll be greatful.
