Anything out there like google docs?

At present we use NetStorage from Novell which allows remote access to files in school based on the permissions given to the user when they login to the Novell servers, and it works fine, if anyone ever uses it. But it has the old problem of download the document, edit it, re-upload it which is a bit annoying so i was wondering if there is a "local" google docs type online editor that can be installed to a LAMP server in the DMZ and allow users to edit their documents in real time over the net from home?

 

Haven t seen much on the net but it's worth asking.
