Can't upload pdfs to Joomla sites

I know your all down the pub but when you sober up but if anyone in Lancs could test uploading a pdf using Docman and see if its working for them.

 

I've tried 2 of my sites and I'm getting internal server 500 error

...and I can't change any settings in Global Config either -same error

Does it work using other methods - Filezilla for instance?

 

I haven't used it myself but I wonder if it's a Docman issue?

I,m pretty sure ftp would work (as they are completely separate - and if ftp's broken - the lancs web team will notice themselves )

 

I can create and edit articles - just cant upload a doc using docman (which uses php for the upload AFAIK) and I can't save any changes to my global config (which also uses php to save AFAIK)

 

I'm suspecting that its a change made in Lancs php settings but really need another Lancs Joomla user to test and help me escalate it
