I rather stupidly offered to help produce some t-shirts for an event to help the organiser who's getting a bit stressed by it all.

The shirts and the transfers were dropped off last night, along with a CD containing the image to be printed.

Open box:

100 x plain black t-shirts. Interesting...

Pack of 100 x transfers. Hmm, no margin for error then...?!

Locate CD - pop CD into PC and load up the image........can you guess what the problem is yet?

.......it's a design with a black background with grayscale graphics, and with lots of white text; so if you produced a transfer from it and ironed it on to a black shirt you WON'T SEE THE WRITING! It took me half an hour to explain over the phone that PRINTERS DON'T PRINT WHITE!

100 white t-shirts are on their way now apparently.

I wound up doing this for my brother in laws stag do last year as the best man pulled out of organising/going 3 weeks before the big day! Only had 15 to do but it was a right pain!!!

How big is your image? If you can fit more than one to a page it won't matter if its wonky as you can cut it out after it's printed :-)

The graphic is a4 size. Why do I think I'm not going to get any sleep tonight? At least I managed to print all the transfers last night.

Seriously thinking of borrowing the D&T depts t-shirt press.....
