I've actually won something for the first time in my life!

Entered a compo a while ago to name the new Pit and Paddock complex at Silverstone circuit - and won with 9 other folks!

 

Got VIP tickets to the opening, british GP and motoGP as well as a racing experience of choice Over the moon!"

Yeah, it's called The Wing. It was suggested by 10 people and they liked it so much (as it bears in mind the tracks aviation history and the shape of the building) they awarded the prizes to all 10 winners

 

Was almost in tears yesterday when I found out (after spending half an hour confirming it wasn't a scam) - then phoned my best mate as the guest I can take to all events - as it's both our dreams fulfilled!

Wow Amazing! Congratulations are due. I entered that compo, didn't think of The Wing though Can't remember what I suggested now been that long since I entered, have a great time enjoying the new stand its looking good from the photos

Was in September this year, and was July the year before that. Went to both, got one hell of a sunburn in the July one! Great event that, can't fault it for the price!

I wasn't at the Renault one, but was at the F1 in July and my gosh the sunburn was bad, I'm sure Timbo343 was also rather well burnt as I was with him at the F1.

 

I was peeling on my ears for about 2 weeks after, was a lovely day though, bit too hot at times but I'd rather it be that way then pouring with rain, I suspect its not the nicest place to be in torrential rain!

 

May bump into you at the F1 seen as you get tickets for that as part of your prize!

I saw it quite a few times - first time at the beginning of june at the motogp - then the f1 then renault series and also september renualt i think.

 

Most of the time the weather was boiling and me on the food trailer selling curry wasn't the most pleasurable of experiences!

 

it was amazing how quickly they where moving on - when i first arrived there for the motogp it was half a steel structure 3 weeks later for the f1 it was a fully complete steel structure!
