Hi Guys,

This email arrived in my box today from the CAS group. I thought I'd post it here to see if anyone could help.

At The National Museum of Computing we are building up a collection/

exhibit around the Acorn BBC micro, including use for sensing and

control applications. If you find any Beeb software or hardware at

the back of your darkest school cupboard (or in your attic), do please

consider donating it to the Museum where we will care for it for

visitors (inc children) to see and sometimes use. You can email me

at chris.monk [at] tnmoc [dot ]org or visit the Museum website at www.tnmoc.org

and donate that way or better still bring it to Bletchley Park where

we are and say hello.

This has nowt to do with me, but maybe some colleagues on here can help. Let me know if you do.

Gareth

Just to put a good word in for these guys, Dos_Box and I met up with them at the R3Play event and had a really nice chat with one of the volunteers there (he brought the RM PC along that was posted on here by DB a bit since) and they were explaining about it all and what they do and the work they are doing. They are a very good group and well worth a visit, I've not been down to see them but certainly am planning on doing so in the future but if you do have anything I am very confident it will be well received and looked after by them and put to good use in education future generations about the things we all remember from our youth days :)

Hi, Gareth

I've copied this message onto the Acorn

hardware newsgroup at -

BBC kit wanted for National Museum of Computing in Bletchley - comp.sys.acorn.hardware | Google Groups

Far more people who are into BBC micros

hang out there than do on EduGeek.

However, if you want to take a look at

some newer RISC oS hardwware, take a look

at (although the text is in German) -

a4com - risc os hw-preise

Best wishes
