hiya how old is the DDR3 and how come your selling it?

I bought it at the start of the year but only used it for a few days.

I used one of those memory compatibility checkers to check it with my motherboard. It said it was compatible so I bought it but kept getting BSOD's. I eventually found some memory test results on one of the mobo manufacturers' (MSI) foreign sites and it said the memory had been tested and wasn't compatible.

So got stuck with £100 worth of DDR3. It was when my mobo was new out so didn't find out until it had been out a while.
