Hi

We are moving all of our admin staff over to Office 2010 and am going to spend an hour with them to outline some of the benefits.

Is anyone able to give me real good selling points that will get staff wowed in the session I do with them.

I want them to really go away and be excited!

I dont really use Office but do use Outlook 2010 and have enough on there to sell it to existing outlook 2003 users but am more interested in key selling features in Word and Excel.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I like the extra formatting features, especially the font options and picture framing.

Only thing is, if they save it will save as a .docx file which staff (using 2003) wont be able to open.

You can set it to save as the 2003 formats, or install the compatibility pack on the machines with 2003 (msi available)...

For both, the right click functions when pasting - it shows a preview of what the paste will look like. Similar for changing fonts - live preview.

Excel conditional formatting is much improved and table formatting.

The ability to add off-the-cuff screengrabs is a major joy for me.

Insert - Screenshot, and it allows you to select which open program you wish to get the screen grab from as well. A very handy feature.
