Enable Windows Media Player mini mode

Anyone know if it's possible to enable the Mini Mode in Media Player via the Registry? Just someone in our languages department has asked for it.

May not work as it does not seem to under Vista/WMP11 but according to this page Make Windows Media Player Automatically Open in Mini Player Mode - How-To Geek you can make it spin up mini mode for opened files with a certain string in the filename. Something like * may apply to all. The reg key for it is located here:
