The only thing putting me off at the moment is how much of a ballache it is to download the client(s)! Edit: and i purposefully forgot my login details!

I am considering moving my toon to a pvp server but not till next year as its going to be an insane gankfest when cata goes live and everyone makes new chars.

Also on Earthen Ring here, it is an RP realm but there is very little RP going on horde side. The RP isn't why I joined the server though it's just generally a much nicer environment to play in without stupidly named chars running about and far fewer annoying kiddies (get enough of them at school).
CAM Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Dwarf Shaman FTW! Regarding Earthen Ring, I find it isn't too bad. Not overcrowded and people aren't too unfriendly (as far as WoW goes). Compare that to some servers where people spam racism and homophobia freely in chat channels. The RP community I admit I never got involved in (seen some folks where they stay up all night RPing and are more addicted to that then progressing in the game). Worth it for the better community though. Fun Earthen Ring Fact: Alliance guild called Lazer Attack Pew Pew got complaints and had their name changed by a GM...to Sword Attack Klang Klang. It still generated complaints for years after. 1

They have a new streaming client that only downloads what you need for the area you are currently in, then it continues to download in the background So it's stupidly quick for new players and returners to get back into the game now... I was level 80 Mage with full PVP items (relentless/wrathful) basically all the best pvp items bar arena ratings as I can't commit to play at certain times! I'm 81 now just questing etc and will be PVE for a while to get rep and etc. If anyone is about PM and I'll give you my users name

What do you all think about the new areas? I'm quite liking the journey to Vash and the whole area itself Quite surprised at how tough the new mobs are, as a L80 DK in tier 10 gear I still struggle against 4 or more

I'm thinking of starting a Worgen, I already have an 80 Human Rogue on Nordrassil but the Alliance there 90% of the time gets its ass handed to it in WG, not that I am a PvP legend but it would be nice to win sometimes!
