Trying to make a phone to compete with apple that has the few worst bits of software - windows and flash / shockwave, windows has never been as reliable as a *nix type distro and we all know why everyone complains about shockwave / flash crashing half the time, I know it is used ie youtube and other sites but still needs improving a lot both on MS and Adobe sides.

 

I quite like the look of HTML 5

It'd be an interesting acquisition, but I think ultimately bad for the consumer. I think Microsoft has lost its edge by constantly trying to provide everything to everyone. They need to refocus. Maybe spin off some of their products as subsidiaries.

 

If one company has to sit and make 10000 things, they're not going to produce as good a phone as a company that produces 500 things with their phone range being their main focus.

 

Buying Adobe would probably make it worse for them, adding yet more load to their portfolio and making things even more of a mess.

If Microsoft take over adobe, and we can get stuff like Premiere and Photoshop under the school agreement that wouldn't be so bad....
