Sharing Signal - Orange & T-Mobile

Joy, as my G1 is using android 1.6, enabling this will cause issues - ie. i wouldn't be able to use data on the orange network at the moment.

 

So, no use yet for me, until they release a new software update anyway.

 

 

No option for Data Roaming on 1.6?

I got my changed as soon as I was able, but as soon as I was getting Dual Signal(by this I mean the Network Operator on the home screen changed from Orange to Orange T-Mobile) I lost 3 G signal everywhere :-(

 

Phoned Orange and argued with the nice lady who said this hasn't happened (even though she can't she my phone!) and got her to change it back.

 

But was also told that come january I will not have a choice because it will roll out to everyone as standard.

It is currently on 2G signal that you can use on the T-Mobile Network if you are an Orange customer. I think they are releasing the 3G signal sharing in the new year
