Small_Pig_Dancing Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 What is it with you lot - next you will be joining up to th Scientology brigade........ Hey, now there's a thought....!
Carter Posted September 30, 2010 Author Posted September 30, 2010 Like the Apple laptops on Chuck, which have a Nerd Herd sticker over the Apple logo on the lid. lol, and most shows do that. Cover up the Apple logo, hide the computer name .... oh and linux or alternate OS from Windows & Mac lol
Little-Miss Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 What is it with you lot - next you will be joining up to th Scientology brigade........ Well, i did fancy a bit of brain washing...
HarryMonkey Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Excellent use of the scary monkey there Mattx.. But i am with tech_guy there, i do like my iPod touch. *runs and hides* Mmmm, I didn't really get the whole Apple thing until I got an iPod touch, which I then got rid of and replaced it with an iPhone. (In less than a month!!) (After saying I'd never have anything but a Sony Ericcson).
ICT_GUY Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Well, i did fancy a bit of brain washing... For some of us it would only take a quick rinse.
dayzd Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 lol, and most shows do that. Cover up the Apple logo, hide the computer name .... oh and linux or alternate OS from Windows & Mac lol They don't always manage that, though. There's an episode of Firefly (a recommended watch if you've not seen it) where there's batantly a W2k machine with the 'install new hardware' dialogue on screen on a futuristic dumpster...!

Disease Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I would rather use Linux than Apple OS, I do have an IPHONE though which means Steve Jobs now owns me, including my Liver for when his current one breaks.
GoldenWonder Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 I've just started using Macs and to be honest find them about the same as a good Linux distro. What I have noticed I have the most problems with configuration in the order Mac>Win7>Linux>XP Win7 has too many broken features, the Macs have hung more than any hardware I've ever know (stupid spinning circle!), linux varies wildy and XP is pretty stable with many faults!
K.C.Leblanc Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 For some of us it would only take a quick rinse. Mattx on the other hand, anyone willing to wash his brain? I have marigolds. As for your Mac collection, I don't see any Umax Macs.
mattx Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Mattx on the other hand, anyone willing to wash his brain? You would have a problem finding it........ If you do, let me know.
