Device Manager

Hi guys

 

I can't remeber the name of it so i am trying to find another one or an alternative. But i used to have this piece of software which can look at your device manager and effectively give you a broken down, advanced version of it. It can see what the devices are and gives you information about it. I need this cause i have this computer which has a few missing drivers, and just wanted to find out what they were, and i thought one of the best ways for this is to look at this advanced device manager thing. I found a few on the net but none of them seem to be any good.

 

If anyone knows of a good one then please could you list some... free preferrably.

you could use PCI database which allows you to search with the device id found on the unknown device in device manager

"MSInfo32" seems to give you a detailed breakdown of your PC components etc. Just type it in run and see if that helps....

Everest, or SIW does it all and finds passwords and license keys also

Cheers guys, the everest one seems to be the best just downloaded it thanks very much.

 

With regards to MSInfo32 yes it gives you some information but not all the info i needed.

used both sandra and everest, for me Everest seems the better product at the moment
