reggiep Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 We rebuilt all our machines during the summer hols and have found that a few are causing problems. When a domain user logs on to the machine they are not logged on as a domain user but as the local admin? If I rebuild the problem goes away but I would be interested to see what people think this problem may be? thanks
dwhyte85 Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Are you certain domain users, , , - hasn't been added to the local admins group? Within the brackets might be named differently for your school. Our technician before did that so they could run USB keys (annoying sandisks) without thinking about the impact it had. Or do you mean it actually says 'COMPNAME\Administrator'?
p858snake Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 Sure it's not just getting a wrong profile, such as a default one?
reggiep Posted September 6, 2010 Author Posted September 6, 2010 @dwhyte85 - No, these are machines that have all had the same image pumped out to them. It seems to be a small rogue group that have the problem. @p858snake - Not sure how i would tell?
