Load IE6 site in newer browsers

I have a DVR system that has a web interface. Various staff want to check this and keep tabs on various cameras. However the DVR systems internal website will only load up on IE6 browsers. Others just generate an unhelpful javascript error. Any ideas how to get round this?

See if the cameras have a newer firmware you can chuck on them?

Can you get the direct stream url from webpage on a ie6 browser (view source maybe), You could probably punch it into one of the many webcam viewing apps then and see if that works.

On a machine with IE6, it used an activeX control. So I can't get any info out.
