IE7 vanished from WSUS

Help,

 

I've just set up a couple of new machines. Everything went OK, they got all their updates from WSUS, except for IE7.

 

Before Christmas IE7 was happily deploying throughout the network via WSUS, now it isn't. I haven't changed anything!

 

It doesn't even appear as an update in WSUS. Have Microsoft removed it?

 

How do I get it back?? Please help! :x

Make sure you have the 'IE7 Dynamic Installer' category enabled. Enable the 'Media player dynamic installer category too while your at it.

They pulled it before due to a bad deployment. Perhaps the same is happening again. Last time it re-appeared a week later.

Well it is patch Tuesday. Perhaps there's some confusion at Microsoft's end. Does doing a manual sync help?

Thanks. The Windows update site is down at the moment, so I can't do a manual update.

 

It looks like they have pulled it, then. I'll try again next week.

I take it you have re-approved the newer updated version that worked? When they pulled the old one they didnt't set it to auto re-approve the replacement. I found this out, the old one was there, then went but the replacment wasnt approved so had to be done again.
