Moodle in the West Midlands

We are looking to install Moodle in a primary school in walsall and was hoping that there may be other schools in the West Midlands area that we could go to and see how it has been implemented and is being used.

hi there-- not in a west midlan ds school sorry but if you sen d me a pm i will send you sn 8 minute video of primary teachers and pupils ttalking and showing howthey use moodle-Is can't make it public as some children are named but might give you ideas-sorry for poor typing-on my phone!

Hi Mike, you can come and look at ours if you like. We've gone with the solution provided by Link2ICT which I have to say is pretty good and a lot better handled than their Zimbra implementation.

I believe Ounsdale High School in Wombourne near Wolverhampton uses Moodle (or at least their website Ounsdale High School links to a moodle installation). I have no relationship with them (other than the fact I live in the village) so don't know who you would need to speak to regarding a visit/information.

I was going to recommend Link2ICT in Birmingham, it appears to be well supported.

Depends on what you are looking for tbh... we are running it here and I can give you the details on how to set it up but as for teaching with it I wouldn't have a clue - I could have a chat with the lead person to see what he can suggest but as we have only just taken it up ourselves i'm not sure how much help we would be - we're a secondary too.
