PEO Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 Hi gang, I've made alot of changes and updates to my campaign website Paul Pearson - Justice For Paul I would like to hear what you think of it in terms of speed navigation clarity and any other comments This is very important to myself and my familly to get this right as we will be meeting up with the media soon. SYNACK Posted July 10, 2010 Posted July 10, 2010 (edited) Some stuff I noticed in IE8: Two 'LINKS' links at the bottom of the main page Large 'Paul' on background did not render till mouse was moved over the outer section content section is not centered on the screen leaving a large gap to the right on my widescreen Perhaps a set of social media links would help to add publicity, ie Digg etc. 'Archives' could possibly be relabled 'comments' for clarity Speed seemed ok for a uk based site from the end of the interent Layout is nice and clean which is good and clear Edited July 10, 2010 by SYNACK 1

In fact, does that need to be a .php page at all? It's quite latent, a static page would be a lot quicker. 1

I decided not to have a centred main contents Archives and categories are to be relabled... just trying to think of suitable titles I have facebook and twitter at the bottom - Im mofing them tommorow so there bigger and under the right menu Intresting you say about the Paul rendering. I will have a have to think about the contact block some more. the menu in the footer is starting to get full which means I may have seriously consider moving it Cheers

The PHP Pageing system keeps the user on "index.php" and each page is cached on first visit... and updates to the site reloads the cache and the cache is then re-loaded on next page visit... if you understand that...
