enjay Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 We have a summer language school coming in, and I would like to put signs up saying instructing them not to write on our Smart boards, and to make these more obvious, to have them in Italian. Rather than risk a lost in translation moment with Google, could anyone tell me what "please don't write on this board" is in Italian?
rad Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Have emailed an Italian teacher here at school. Will come back to you. 1
SteveBentley Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 I found a load of writing in French all over a projection screen a while ago. I put up signs along the lines of "n'ecrivez pas sur l'ecran" and was accused of being sarcastic. Moi?
enjay Posted July 8, 2010 Author Posted July 8, 2010 Thanks guys. What a multi-talented community we are :-)
enjay Posted July 8, 2010 Author Posted July 8, 2010 I found a load of writing in French all over a projection screen a while ago. I could have done it in French myself, or Spanish if I'd asked Mrs Enjay; unfortunately I forgot to ask the Italian teacher before term broke up yesterday.
K.C.Leblanc Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Here's the Welsh translation if you need it BBC News 1
rad Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 "Non scrivere du questa lavagna per favore!" is what an Italian teacher sent me (eventually) 1
