Hi, someone showed me a while ago but ive totally forgotten how to do it, a student had over 16000 cells of analysis data with data set ranging from -0.002-5.0066 ... and so on, the problem was getting the data in a graph, it displayed ok but nearly killed the printer spooler trying to print it due to sheer amount of samples it had to plot. Some one showed me how to sort by taking a 10th of each data set using some integer based sorting routine which would in the end display the graph exactly how it would with 16000 samples, but i cant remember exactly how he did it.

Does anyone know how to print a table of value 16000 items without the data looking different on the graph of reducing accuracy.

Convert the graph to a jpg and print that out?

i tried to pdf and image formats and the pc rises to 100% each time, also that isnt a good solution because the output for any graphc takes ages to produce.
