Goats, Bridge... too much for a Friday afternoon!

I had a goat when I was younger..he would have plumeted to his death..he was about as agile a an elephant!!!

I love goats - sad thing is.... [ and boy I will regret admitting to this ] - Wednesday just gone I was out helping on the year 3 trip to Whipsnade Zoo - first stop with my group - The Children's Zoo - so I could get to see the goats.....

Why thankyou!! I used to put a head collar on him and take him (his name was Mcginty) for walks...I was a lonely child!!

Goats are cute but dumb. A family friend has two as pets at her stables. They eat everything, including carrier bags and people's wallets. I was sweeping up one day in the stable block, listening to Guns 'n' Roses on my iPod, and the stupid male goat jumped up and bit clean through the headphone cable. It was nearly goat curry!

My other half wants a goat for the front garden. I've said he can't have a goat until I can have my chickens...

I've got four chickens at home at the moment but the wife has said no to either goats or a pig. We are getting bees next year so that's a positive. We were going to have pigeons but they poop all over everything and I think the patience of the neighbours is wearing a bit thin as one of our chickens is rather noisy.
