mattx Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Kyocera FS-C5200DN - anyone using them - comments / suggestions please......Thanks.
carnforthhigh Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 We use the Utax CLP 3621 which if i am right are the same machine as these. Very reliable and good quality printing, long toner life too. 1
Roopert Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 using the 5100 version in one of my schools and apart from some hardware issues when it arrived. (which were resolved reasonably by kyocera - i.e. replaced!) its print quality is fine and there have been no issues so far. 1
button_ripple Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 We are using the FS-5300DN, no problems at all. Prints are ok, and the running costs are very low. Can take a while to print out photos (especially if they are printed from Windows 7 for some reason). 1
mounters Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 We use the 5300 as well, no problems with them, cheap to run as well. @button_ripple look at the driver you are using, i've found that using the latest kx driver is better than the basic windows 7 version. Last time I looked it was unsigned though so depending how you deploy printers you may need to make some changes to policies, etc. 2
Fruity Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 We’re using a couple of 5025's and their Utax clones and all work very well. On the odd occasion we've had to contact Kyocera support, it’s been a painless experience and the issues resolved without any hassle.
