barmybarmy Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 I wouldn't know where to start... Is there a way to put it neatly in an i frame?
fairm010 Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 What I meant by that is I wouldn't know where to start embedding iPlayer. I've found how to embed past programs but streams seem difficult. I'll work on this next week in half term.
barmybarmy Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Any thoughts on this? Let me know. Thanks.
barmybarmy Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Hi I just found this: Does it work for you? how do you take of the bottom tool bar?
barmybarmy Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 My Sky feed has just stopped working now! Has anyone got BBCnews working yet?
Arthur Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 My Sky feed has just stopped working now! The YouTube live feed works for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYlQJbsVs48
mb2k01 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 The YouTube live feed works for me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYlQJbsVs48 I saw this on another post too which helped out a lot. Do you know of any other news or entertainment live feeds going via YouTube? Good ol' Google doesn't seem to be very helpful!
barmybarmy Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Thanks Back on, but has anyone worked out the new BBC feed/stream?
Arthur Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Do you know of any other news or entertainment live feeds going via YouTube? Not that I am aware of. I don't think you'll ever see Channel 4 News (for example) on YouTube because the company hates YouTube.
barmybarmy Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 has youtube stopped the skynews feed? this doesn't work for me anymore?
synaesthesia Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Yes, we noticed this yesterday - I *think* it's the change from flash to HTML5 but haven't looked into it enough to be sure.
barmybarmy Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Is that just a webpage or is there code that you can change the size?
Arthur Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) this doesn't work for me anymore? Try this... Edited June 4, 2015 by Arthur Updated code
ianniow Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 All I see is a black screen with "Please Standby." on it.
Arthur Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 All I see is a black screen with "Please Standby." on it. Can you try again? I have changed the code in the post above.
ianniow Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Thanks for the update. I now see the video but it has a black bar across the middle with "Please Standby." on it. Also it it possible to get it to Autstart?
Arthur Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 is there a way that is not an iframe? There is, although when I tried it I get the "Please stand by" message and the video doesn't play. The iframe method of embedding videos is the only one recommended by Google now. https://developers.google.com/youtube/player_parameters http://vgy.me/17pKcW.png http://vgy.me/ek19xv.png
barmybarmy Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 OK how about a way to re size the feed in the url? https://www.youtube.com/embed/sw4hmqVPe0E?autoplay=1&theme=dark&autohide=2&modestbranding=1&rel=0&iv_load_policy=3
Arthur Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 OK how about a way to re size the feed in the url? Via the width and height attributes...
