dezt Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 Girlfriend pointed this out to me, if it wasn't pro rata i'd be interested in it. Senior Advisor for ICT
tesh Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 I`ve just started looking around for jobs, whats the pro rata mean?
K.C.Leblanc Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 I`ve just started looking around for jobs, whats the pro rata mean? It means the stated sallary is what you would be paid if the job was full time, 52 weeks a year. In this case the job is term time only so the pay will be adjusted to allow for the holidays.
ict_support Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 you dont get paid holiday and work term time only, . However you would still be paid 12 months of the year as your wages are spread out across the 12 months, but you dont get paid for non term time and holiday...
ict_support Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 thats a good rate for a primary school techie !!
ChrisH Posted June 10, 2010 Posted June 10, 2010 (edited) I would be wary of the job evaluation messing with that wage next year. Edit: Mind you it's Blackburn so they may have done the JE already. Edited June 10, 2010 by ChrisH
jtuerena Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Sounds like a load of old bull dust to me
