Ultra short throw projectors security?

Do people bother with security cages with ultra short throw projectors? Has anyone every heard of them being stolen as they are a bit difficult to use in your front room?

Difficult to use? The Hitachi ones with the mirror would be excellent in your front room as you can sit it at the base of the wall and projectt upwards.

We've supplied some of the Plutos but they have mainly been for where schools are using them in sports halls etc... to make them a bit more rhobust.

 

The main issue with stealing these projectors is their size, as they are so large I would imagine it would be a bit tougher to leg it with one of them. Having said that a college we work with had 2 guys walk out with a 50" plasma in the middle of the day a la phoenix nights. fortunately one of the estates guys twigged and they got arrested further down the road! Unbelievable what some people will try and get away with.
