Leicester Network Managers/supporters meetings?

Anyone know if these are still going? I remember meetings around five years ago and have see posts mentioning something like this but can't see any details.

 

If they are not going anymore is anyone interested in starting something like this up?

I made this website Leicester Schools Network and then realised it might already be setup. So if it is then I will post details on there, if not lets get busy.

It looks like LEAMIS put on some sort of get together but this is for Leicestershire County Council schools so I am going to push forward with trying to get something going for City and County schools so if anyone is interested in attending and/or speaking let me know.

I am trying to get some speakers for short sessions and will confirm things via the website over the newt couple of weeks. I will also be emailing all the schools I can get email addresses for with details.

A quick note on Leamis, any chance you could point me in the right direction for finding out when/where those meetings are?

Really happy to have you guys interested.

 

I am looking at topics that people might be interested in and would welcome any ideas from LA schools as we are not one and so our experiences are very different in that respect.

Given that some schools will be looking at Windows 7 over the summer as well as Hyper-V these are two subjects we may cover ourselves.

 

I would like to get 4 speakers for 20 mins each and welcome any offers for this.

 

Agenda is updated and hopefully it looks like a useful 2 hours.

 

Given that this is my first time organising something like this I would welcome any constructive criticism and I really do mean that, if you think the times/dates are not right or anything like that please let me know

Meeting are announced on EIS and there is also a mailing list for regular attendees. If you want to be on this list I suggest you contact LEAMIS or is you want, pm me you email address and I will forward it to the correct person.

The LEAMIS meetings end up on EIS. If you pm your email will forward the email of the right person within LEAMIS so that you get told about them. Also make sure you get emailed with date of the meal. Yes would be good to talk.
