Headlight reflectors for driving on the continent?

Aldi have a European driving pack for arond £17. Has everything you should need.

 

I've heard stories in Portugal, where drivers have been stopped by the police and told to get out of the vehicle. They have then been fined for not wearing their hi-vis jacket. Portuguese drivers ignore every form of road traffic law but you always see them in their hi-vis vest if they have broken down.

I just picked up a pack from Halfords with first aid kit, high vis vest, triangle, headlamp things, distress flare, food rations, parachute...... that should cover it

 

I’m sure the gendarmerie will still find something if they’re in the wrong mood, inappropriate footwear maybe?
