FN-GM - Looking For Work

Hi guys,

 

Due to bad things happening at my place I am looking at leaving. I was looking to leave just before the summer, during or just after summer. Idealy I would like a temp job to take me to December, but open to other stuff.

 

I would also like something close the Rochdale area.

 

If anyone knows of anything please give us a shout.

Probably not to make a move at technician level, but from previous correspondence with FNGM I believe he has family here which would help with visa requirements.

 

IT is still on the list of jobs in demand in this country, but its at a bit higher level than that. Im currently going through the 'Skills Assesment' (run by the Australian Computer Society on behalf of Immigration) to determine if Ive got the required level of experience and skills to progress with a SKilled Migrant Visa.

 

Theres nothing to say that you couldnt find an employer that was willing to bring you over and sponsor you?

 

Check out Department of Immigration & Citizenship and look at the Independant Skilled Visa, and the ACS (Australian Computer Society) - Membership, Professionalism and Leadership for ICT Professionals and the ICT Community and look at the Skills Assessment for Immigration and see how that fits into your scenario.
