Has anyone had any experience with DMSystem / their Netflow product? I went to a seminar of theirs down in Southend at the end of last year. It was very good, the product looks excellent. But I'd never heard of them before and I've not seen their product mentioned elsewhere. It fits in nicely with what I'd like to plan in the next 12 months, but I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with the product/company.

I went to their seminar in the North West not so long ago and I was also impressed with what they have to offer. I actually have a meeting with them today so might get some more information.

Let us know how you get on. I've been in contact with them, but am holding off on bringing them into the School as once SMT get involved they'll want to move forward quickly whereas I'm working on a longer term outlook. I'm sure you know how it is!

I've been using NetFlow for about a year now and it does 95% of what I require. Setup and management of users is easy. I am talking to the company about further enhancements (Teacher Console) which would suit my situation.

Currently I'm using it to manage 2003 R2/2008 R2 servers and XP desktops with the possibility of W7 rollout in the near future. All taken care of by NetFlow.

The company DMS is a "lean and mean" outfit who are mostly ex-Akhter, in my opinion, the best bits of Akhter. A very experienced set of people.

I had a meeting with them yesterday when they visited the school. They're a very pleasant company to talk to and certainly don't present themselves as "salesmen". They're happy for me to use them in an advisory capacity as we already have a schedule/contract in place for a big upgrade in the summer. However, they were interested in a possible collaboration with our maintenance company for any future projects. I'm still very interested in NetFlow and think it would be a great tool to use in the future. We'll see how it pans out.
