Recycle Company for Toners, Mobile Phones etc

Hi All,

 

Does anyone have the name of a good company I could use to provide recycle bins for Inks, Toners and maybe even mobile phones?

A Google search shows lots of companies providing different services but I thought I would try and cut to the chase and see if anyone already had someone good.

We've used Recycool - Recycling mobile phones and printer cartridges with schools for cash for the last few years. Pretty good - never had any bins from them - we just use big old boxes.

Yep - no problems with Recycool here also.

 

Do a search on the forums - theres quite a few happy customers.

I signed up with Recycool recently too, as they collect more types of cartridge than our other company (we encourage people to bring home ones in for recycling) - then I noticed that they only do one of our 10ish types of cartridge! The other company we use is Each One Counts Recycling printer cartridges & mobile phones for charity, they give £1/cartridge (which seems a lot higher than most companies) to a charity/charities of your choosing.

We have about £500 so far.

 

No problems with the collecting of the toners, but has anybody actually received payment yet - I haven't tried, but just wondered if everything goes through smoothly.

You must be using massive amounts of toner! How long have you been using Recycool?

 

I ask because we had about 18 months worth of empty cartridges packed in 4 very large boxes and had about £50 for it all. I've come to the conclusion that it is not worth the time and effort.

I think we have been using the company many years probably 5 or 6, maybe more?
