Locking down staff view

I've been asked by our business manager to lock down access to the staff details in Sims, is there an easy way to do this?

 

I had a look in systems manager but the permissions look a nightmare :/

System manager is the only way to go. Yes, it is a bit of a nightmare. don't be tempted to amend existing groups as an upgrade will undo anything you change.

 

There should be very few people with access to Staff Details in a school, other than the basic details.

They are unlikely to have access unless its been granted.

Idd they should only be able to see their name and timetable etc.

Thanks, I removed the users from the personnel officer and also the super user roles.

 

Seems to have worked.
