[ms office - 2007] Weird tracking (?) issue

Hi

 

Just wondered if someone can help innocent old me!

 

A student has emailed me the below piece of work as he can't get rid of the highlight. It seems like he has got tracking (?) turned on, but I just can't work how to get rid of it.

I know it is probably something simple butj ust can't for the life of me work out how to get rid of it!

It very much looks like "highlight" has been enabled. Not running 2007 so cannot help you with how to turn it off other than pointing you to the formatting toolbar.

Could be form filling restrictions, developer tab, protect document, restrict formating and editing.
