hi guys,

in our main hall we have 2 wall patch panel cabinet and the wires hangs between them and looks not nice. so i have been asked to put all the patch panel ina big cabinet. i never done any cabiling soo. how do i do this?

any place i can get cabinet?

I'd go for trunking if you can, it'll be a lot easier, unless you have the patience of a saint to remove everything then put it back again.

between two cabs the space is very little. i think i have to work arrounf the longer cables to do a neat trunking.

If you can show a picture or something? Chances are you'll find some trunking to fit and if there's not much of a gap why go to the hassle of repatching two cabinets.

There often is enough room to remove the whole patch panel with cables still attached, see how large the opening on the top (if it's from the top) it may have an additional flap to unscrew. You may have to dismantle the cabinet slightly for better access. I*'ve successfully consolidated cabinets this way you may need to unpick one or two cables if they were patched later and from a different route. It's all colour coded anyhow so take you time and btw a digital camera is your friend.
