tech_guy Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 (edited) That's what you get for not being politically correct: News Story on The Guardian website Should they have used "members of the traveling community" instead?! Edited April 15, 2010 by tech_guy
mattx Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Bad typo Tech_Guy, it's the Daily Torygraph, not Telegraph.....Cor I dunno......
synaesthesia Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 About typical for most of our media tbh. Also very typical of Romanian internet (ab)users. Highest concentration of morons and script kiddies on the internet and many of them have a grudge to bear. (No, this isn't a general whinge at Romania, before any of them decide to have a pop at me because I've already beaten them; it's a factual observation from real life experience)
nicholab Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 I had Irish travelers at my school they were a pain!!! Why should the council provide for them they don't have to pay a site fee/Council tax and they also deal in cash only (NI?)!!
Dos_Box Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Many have left Ireland as now trespass is a criminal offence as opposed to here where it it civil.
PiqueABoo Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 Bear in mind that (apparently): It also attacks Britain for "broadcasting shitty TV programs like Top Gear". Romanians are growing on me.
tom_newton Posted April 19, 2010 Posted April 19, 2010 Sunbelt Blog: Subdomains defaced on The Telegraph website <-- this is where the story originates, an interesting blog from our trans-atlantic mates at Sunbelt. Chap who wrote it is one of their UK researchers though.
