nawbus Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 The County Council Cabinet have just rejected the Job Evaluation Proposals! http://staffordshireunison.org.uk/bb/YaBB.pl?num=1169032186
LJF Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Anybody in Staffordshire find out what their job title and salary is going to be? At our school everyone has received letters from the county outlining the pays for different roles in the schools but nobody has spoken to the headteacher yet to find out if their pay is going up, staying the same or going down. My current position of Network Manager fits 4 different job descriptions and they are all on a better pay scale then what i am currently on. I was proposed a 5k pay cut last year so quite relieved. Be nice to know how others are getting on.
SpecialAgent Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 I really feel for you guys and would love to ease the pain by providing other employment opportunities to help you spread your wings if you cannot find a way through this in your current school CV's to [email protected]
jimmckenna Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Hi, just wanted to re-surrect this thread to see how people finally "faired" after round 2 of JE in staffordshire? Myself, round 1 down 28% about 7K after round 2 and final outcome up 10% about 2.5K. The whole thing was a shambles but at least the outcome was succesful. Just wanted to gauge how other staffs techs got on. All my technicians equally got a decent "hike" in pay. I think that was down to never giving up and "fighting the cause" locally at school level!!!
pbrian49 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Hi Jim I did better in round 2 and got a boost in pay after being told in round 1 that I would be losing money. Just waiting to see what happens on the COT3 now. have you had any dates at all for the signings?
jimmckenna Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 pbrian49 Yeah!! myselfand my techs have a date for the 7 Feb for COT3 signing day at Tillington Hall Hotel in stafford. We got our letters last friday 16 Jan 09. In terms of "pennies" got exactly what was expected!!
pbrian49 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 That's good news, looking forward to mine. Though I guess being at the north of the county it will be later rather than sooner. Told the wife we are having a 37" TV
