dgsmith Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 oh my...! what the person in the car must have been going through!
rad Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 This is the company Bulk Powder Haulage - Granular Products Transport - Arclid Transport
tech_guy Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Lol, a quote from their website: "Our service is our strength. We have developed an unsurpassed reputation for delivery where you want it, when you want it - swiftly and safely...."
mattx Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 oh my...! what the person in the car must have been going through! If it was me I would be hoping the Lorry would come off at least at the exit I wanted to......
JJonas Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 (edited) Papas revenge on Nicole? A1 apparently I guess Arclid are going to find out how good their PR department are today. Edited March 17, 2010 by JJonas
sippo Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 That's got to be fake surely? The lorry driver would see the headlights in the barriers, and how come there's so many cars behind yet none of them are overtaking?
michael2k6 Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Unless you were going to get infront and brake until he stops, would you be over taking that? lol
MkII Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 You can see the cars brake lights flashing - I wondered what would happen if he reversed to escape out the side, if he could get enough traction for that. You'd think as well there should be a follow up video as he must have caught up with it.
tech_guy Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 It's on the BBC site now - not good publicity for the lorry company is it?! BBC News - Lorry shunt motorway footage sparks probe
Little-Miss Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 God thats frightening!! How did it end up there in the first place?!
tech_guy Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I saw a lesser similar thing happen on a trafficlight controlled roundabout a few years back. The driver in a huge lorry simply didn't see or forgot that there was a little Nissan Micra in front so when he pulled away when the lights changed he ended up shunting this poor old dear halfway around the roundabout before he realised what was happening. Her car didn't look too good afterwards and it wasn't that old - only a few months.
