Ni Hao David,

:welcome: to EduGeek.

i'm not aware of anyone from China, though most of our spam seems to originate there!

Tell us a little about yourself and your school....

I'm the SIMS manager at The British Internation School of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

I would never supply knowledge to the Chinese considering there current political system.

What? Sorry but that is just silly. Lets penalise the general population of a country of 1.35billion people because they are living in a political system that you deem bad. Seems a bit bizarre to me.

Hi again. I'm the IT Teacher/Manager for Changchun American International School (an IBO candidate). We're still a new/small school and so we're shopping around for a School Management System. I'll visit the MIS forum and see if I can get any recommendations...or warnings.

I was a computer consultant until the Tech Bubble burst in 2001 and I decided to switch to education. Taught at a university and college in Korea and then made a move to international schools.

Just curious: Anyone using OpenSim or other 3D virtual worlds to teach computer-aided design, programming, etc.?

Good to hear about foreigners who are teaching in China. You can enjoy your stay there because their culture are rich and you can adopt them. Their country has lot of scenery especially the great wall of China. You can do caravan camping in some places there.
