Ok ... I cheated ... I know a few ASCII character by heart and it was easy to work out the words without having to translat the lot ... and ROT-13 is easy to work out too ... you only need to convert a few letters and you can work out which phrase it was ...

 

But the rest ... nope, the truth and nothing but ... and yes, I do have some additional questions that would be better ....
