You know when people want you to do something there and then but if you cant they get someone else to do it? That's what this is.

 

Some reformatted a computer (standalone) from Windows XP Home to Windows XP Pro, now they entered the XP Home Serial Code and it worked for a few months since Microsoft released the Genuine Updates, now how can I / what do I do to change the Product Key to a VLK code?

I didn't think that was possible. XP Home and XP Pro use different sets of keys as do VLK. This guide should talk you through the steps.

I assume this IS a school owned computer?

Should be worth a try - it's fixed up every other combination of valid key/wrong OS and vice versa that I've thrown at it
