tesco? 100 for £8 and Asda for plastic sleeves, 50 for £2 I think.

CDs/DVDs on a spool from - paper or plastic sleeves from Poundland at £1 ( duh! ) for 100.

Pound saver for the sleeves.

 

Used to be woolies for the CDs, but these days it's usally whichever supermarket is cheapest. I can always get 100 for under a tenner from one of them!

The problem is going to tesco's etc is that who is going to pay for it? We aren't allow a petty cash drawer, the teacher won't get them so why should I go out of my way by a good 10 miles to get them? Might sound selfish, but I wouldn't get any thanks if I did that.

If you set up an account at UKDVDR (i.e. goto their site and register) and then e-mail them ([email protected] - or use their Support thing on their site) with the e-mail address you set the account up for and ask if they can set your account to being a purchase order one, so long as you're able to produce purchase orders from the school (they want a fax confirmation sending over of each purchase order once you've placed the order) then they will allow that and it's normally a next day delivery on the goods too.

 

I use them personally as well for ink / blank media / cases / etc ..

IME Tesco's own brand blank CDs & DVDs are rubbish. The DVD drives in all of our RM Ultralight Mk III laptops can't read them at all (other computers read them without issue though). I've tried looking for firmware updates for the drives, but there aren't any.
