BattleField: Bad Company 2 Demo

Played the demo last night on PS3 - loved it! I particularly like the sound effects on my 5.1 system - it sounds INCREDDIBLE. The graphics seem better too What are your thoughts on this game? Edited February 5, 2010 by BassTech

played the beta version on PC as I bought it via steam, was less than impressed, uninstalled the beta and got refunded from steam. Its got good graphics, but thats all, gameplay is poor, interface is rubbish, not a good game IMHO

Played/Downloaded the xbox version. Not good at all. Especially when you look at COD.

I think BFBC2 is more tactical than COD. MW2 is a good pick up and play game but I found it got boring fast, then again I am a battlefield fanboy

I echo your sentiments, although i have stopped short of getting a refund. It is not a leap forward for the BF series as was expected and is just BF2142 skinned....

 

Also, why is it that the movement is always less accurate on BF games compared to COD. In a firefight it always feels "looser" than COD, and i end up firing like a maniac!

Because COD has no recoil lol

COD has nerfed recoil because accurate recoil would ruin the game something chronic. Having fired alot of the rifles when in the US visiting the father in law, alot of the rifles have much more recoil than the games, but not too much.

 

EG the M4 has crazy recoil on auto, but the game doesnt show it.

I know what you mean I shot a magnum.45 and that was pure recoil

 

I love in BFBC2 how if you commit suicide it says "EPIC FAIL" that always makes me laugh
