Newsletter with Page Turn/Flip

Hi,

 

Does anyone know of any free software that we can use to create newsletters with the page turn / flip function?

 

I'd like to start publishing our newsletter on the school web site and rather than just uploading a .pdf I would like it if users could flip the pages themselves so you get this effect: IslandConnections Edition 607

Oh please, if you do that, at least give a clear and easy to find link for the pdf to your users because those scripts are commonly a pain and also cause issues for people with disabilities/screen readers apparently.

I was looking for something similar a few weeks ago and didn't find anything for free that was any good.

 

Instead I embed documents in the Google PDF reader.

Its not free but its very customizable, my dad has used this for a number of sites that he creates.

This. Accessibility (not to say usability) nightmare. Also unlikely to do you any SEO favours.

Ah, issuu. Like PDF but really annoying iirc.

 

PDFs are easy for people on lots of different devices to deal with. Animated flashy noisy page-turney things aren't. Do you want to reduce the number of people who will read your content?
