Joomla Search

[neilmc]

I am looking for a joomla component or mod which will do a search, not to search the website, but to search the webpage.

e.g. Kid types in Monday, Brings up all results for mondays extra-curriculum activities.

or type in science and it brings up all the science extra-curriculum activities (dates, times, rooms etc)

or type lunch time and it brings up all the extra-curriculum activities thats are on a lunchtime

Hopefully this makes sence.

Cheers

Neil

Is the Ctrl+F function of the browser not good enough to search the page itself?

[neilmc]

Bassically what we have is a table on the page which takes up alot of the space leaves alot of white patches, the head has requested a search function to do away with the table and the kids/parents can search for what they want. otherwise the ctrl+f function would be fine, but that isn't really what we are looking for.

Ah, so you want no data to be shown until they search for it?

[neilmc]

exactly that
