busby Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Hi Guys, I showed my boss the edugeek package and was kinda impressed, one thing he has picked up is the text will not enlarge. What i mean is on ie8 i go to the page drop down box go to text size go to largest nothing happens but on any other site it does he would like that function ( why i dont know when crtl and scroll mouse wheel works fine) is this something to do with joomla or can i add this function?? many thanks chris
speckytecky Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 I'm still very much a Joomla learner but I found that you need to build and edit the pages in a HTML editor - I use HTML Kit.
busby Posted January 15, 2010 Author Posted January 15, 2010 Yeah but this is the edugeek joomla package all pages have been pre built.
rush_tech Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I've not touched the edugeek package in a while, but you could try another module like this. That one does work with ie8 1
busby Posted January 15, 2010 Author Posted January 15, 2010 That maybe just the ticket! Thank you very much. Cheers Chris
mossj Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 The text is proberly fixed in the CSS, which stops IE from enlarging it. You can go through the CSS code and edit all the 'px' font values to be 'em' or '%'
