News UK May not be that into politics but he has earnt some points in my book for having the cojones to stay overnight in Afghanistan... We had an economy according to him to be proud of and masses of money in the bank, where has it all gone, it has gone into the anuls of corruption and the pockets of consultants who don't have a clue about the real world in which we have to live. Mark my words people as I have said on here before it is going to get a lot worse before it shows a glimmer of ever getting better. It is like two blokes fighting about who is the best at the moment and not one of them gives 2 hoots what happens to the very people who pay their wages.

I mean if your going to send people to a war zone, going there yourself is the least you can do. did he go there 'himself' in the way that obama goes somewhere 'himself' ie accompanied by an entourage and dozens of security staff ? Or was it just Bob ainsworth between browns bunk and the concrete blast walls for extra protection ?
sparkeh Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Does it take balls to go somewhere where the security setup means there is virtually no chance of any actual danger for a cheap PR stunt? Having balls would be if he went on a mission without the body armour that you were promised in a vehicle that isn't fit for the purpose that it is being used for, all for conflict that you still don't really understand the reason for or what is actually being achieved. I guess Brown is damned whatever he does but, even though I thought it not possible, he has slipped even further in my estimation.
